Adding New Voice Sets

The process for creating a new voice set is fairly simple.

1: Name the files you wish to insert into TRIBES. These must be .wav files, using the following format:

<voice_set_name>.~w<sample_name>.wav

For example, if you had the Eric Cartman "Beefcake!" .wav you wanted to put into TRIBES, the file name might look like this:

cartman1.~wbeefcak.wav

Note: the Voice Set Name can be any length, but cannot contain spaces or special characters. The Sample Name must be seven characters or less, and must be preceded by the "~w".

2: Place the files into TRIBES. You may insert them either as standalone files into the /base/voices directory, or place them into a single volume using the Volume Tool. If you create a volume for the files, the name of the volume must be the same as the voice set name, i.e. "cartman1.vol".
